LCR Gigs : Fun Lovin Criminals

What: LCR Gigs

Where: LCR

Starts: 19:30:00

Ends: 11pm

How much?:

£18.50adv

Earlier this year the multi platinum funk soul brothers, with 4 Top 10 albums to their name, returned for the first time in five years with the album ‘Classic Fantastic’, a party album for a brand new decade featuring collaborations with Roots Manuva and Paul Kaye. The album, which was released on 1st March, burst out of the preceding gloom of the last five years with reviews citing a definitive return to form.

Well known for their raucous live shows, Fun Lovin Criminals wrapped up their Spring tour with a show stopping performance at a sold out Koko that earned them a 4 star review in The Times, who said ‘musically and spiritually this was a show by a band re-born.’

Huey Morgan has also been re-born as a TV and Radio personality, with his award winning ‘The Huey Show’ for 6 music, and the successful Sky 1 show ‘Pet Nation’ that he co hosts with Liza Tarbuck. Huey - who was recently described by The Times as ‘reformed hoodlum, pop star and the BBC’s new darling, Huey Morgan is a 21st-century gentleman’ - has just been nominated for another Sony Award for ‘Music Broadcaster Of The Year 2010’.

The band has embarked on this new chapter with a new philosophy. “There’s this thing called Noetics,” explains Huey. “Which says if everybody thinks the same good thoughts, good things will happen. Likewise, negative thoughts - it’s not rocket science. And we all want the same thing, to be a Fun Lovin’ Criminal. You have to go through hell to get to heaven and now we’re finally out from under a lot of our problems, it’s a brand new day. So let’s go out and do what we love to do.” It’s good to have them back.

The album was produced by Romeo with Valgeir Sigurðsson, who has worked with the likes of Björk, Bonnie Prince Billy, Múm and many others, and was mixed together with Ben Hillier (Doves, Elbow, Blur). LCR Gigs : Ocean Colour Scene

image

What: LCR Gigs

Where: LCR

Starts: 19:00:00

Ends: 11pm

How much?:

£23.50 advance

Birmingham’s emperors of rock’n’folk Ocean Colour Scene are back with their ninth studio album, entitled Saturday. In the nineties hits like 'The Riverboat Song' and 'The Day We Caught The Train' left an indelible print on the zeitgeist; as they approach their 21st anniversary together, OCS remain as sincere and passionate about their music.

The band have had five top 10 albums, nineteen top 20 singles, of which six made the top 10.  In a recent poll on XFM of the 100 Greatest Ever British Songs, both ‘The Day we Caught the Train’ and ‘Riverboat Song’ were included. Speaking on the remarkable achievement of 21 years together as a band, Steve Cradock had the following to say:

“We have been on the Scene for 21 years...that is a remarkable achievement and I think it’s because we are about being a great live band...”

Universal Records are set to release a single CD of their greatest hits and a 4CD box set in September 2010. The hits CD and the box set will be entitled ‘21 ‘. The band will be recording a brand new single specifically written for the tour and the hits collection to be released in August (further details tbc).

There will also be a double-disc, remastered deluxe version of their best selling album ‘Moseley Shoals‘, to be released in October.

Waterfront Gigs : Imelda May

What: Waterfront Gigs

Where: The Waterfront

Starts: 19:30:00

Ends: 11pm

How much?:

£16.50 advance

“The problem with an artist like Imelda May is that she’s so good, it makes a critical review almost impossible to write; her performance is flawless.” Clash Magazine

With her strikingly cool but quirky 50s look and raw energy, Imelda May is taking the music scene by storm. Having fallen in love with rockabilly and blues as a nine-year-old in Dublin, she has fused them together and given them a modern twist to create the most exciting and original sound you’ll hear this, or any year.

Her new album ‘Mayhem’ sees Imelda continue to develop her uniquely modern fusion of classic musical genres. The record not only showcases her exceptional songwriting ability, but also displays some more disparate influences, with first single Psycho seeing Imelda channel the spirit of early PJ Harvey, whilst the heartbreakingly poignant “Kentish Town Waltz” conjures an image of Chrissie Hynde at her most reflective..

There's an obscure Chinese proverb that roughly translates as "There is one thing greater than money and power: Enthusiasm." While some of the more cynical people in the world would dismiss that statement as some kind of hollow fortune-cookie philosophy, that lesson is something the Cleveland-based metal outfit Chimaira have taken to heart. With four records and a decade of service in the trenches behind them, the band—singer Mark Hunter, guitarists Rob Arnold and Matt DeVries, bassist Jim LaMarca, drummer Andols Herrick and keyboardist Chris Spicuzza—have created The Infection, their second release for Ferret Music and their most ambitious recording yet.

Waterfront Gigs : Mark Chadwick (Levellers)

image

What: Waterfront Gigs

Where: The Waterfront

Starts: 19:00:00

Ends: 11pm

How much?:

Price: £14.00 advance

Mark Chadwick has announced details of the release of his debut solo album, entitled All The Pieces, to be released through Stay By Records on 6 September 2010.

One of the UK’s most successful songwriters, Mark Chadwick has co-written 20 chart singles and 6 Top 40 albums (including a Number 1) as part of The Levellers, the band he has fronted for over 20 years. All The Pieces is however, not a Levellers album. Whilst the voice may be familiar, that is where the similarities end.

Instead, this is an intensely personal collection of folk-tinged acoustic pop tracks, written and refined over the course of the last two decades. Brought to life by award-winning producer Sean Lakeman, Mark is joined by an ‘all star cast ‘of some of the UK’s greatest folk musicians.

Both Sean and Seth Lakeman, along with Dan Donnelly (Watercress, Sonovagun), Martin Pannett (McDermott’s 2 Hours), Toby May (Clearlake), Daniel Goddard (aka DBG) and Ben Nicholls (Dennis Hopper’s Choppers) all perform on the album, and Mark’s singing is complemented by the astoundingly beautiful voice of Equation’s Kathryn Roberts.

All The Pieces is, to all intents and purposes, Mark Chadwick telling the story of his own life, in his own words. Presented chronologically, it charts the highs and lows of his extraordinary life, encompassing life altering events such as attending Elephant Fayre which helped shaped his political views, falling in (and subsequently out of) love, through to his later disillusion with both mainstream and radical politics.

This album shows a side of Mark Chadwick’s songwriting and personality that up to now he has largely kept out of the public eye. Honest and heartfelt, yet highly accessible and endearingly upbeat, All The Pieces shares many of its hallmarks with the great folk revival albums of the 60’s and early 70’s. Anyone expecting a Levellers sound-alike album will be disappointed, but those with an ear for beautifully produced acoustic pop, great melodies and engaging lyrics will most certainly not.

“The album was inspired by Cat Stevens, Nick Drake and whole host of other lesser known names all of whom represent the myriad of lesser travelled paths that opened up somewhere between the breakup of the Beatles and the formation of Led Zeppelin.” says Mark.

“Lyrically I wanted to show another side to being in a band. As brilliant and exciting as it is, it also can also take a heavy personal toll. So this album is autobiographical, beginning at the point where I first realised I was utterly besotted by music and ending where I am today, basically chronicling the last 28 years of my life, with each song being about a different phase.”

Waterfront Gigs : Adrian Edmondson & the Bad Shepherds

£15 advance

The Bad Shepherds play punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because we really like the noise. We think the songs are better than people remember. We love folk instruments. It works. We do songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers, The Jam, Sham 69, The Undertones, The Buzzcocks, The Ramones, The Specials, Talking Heads, Squeeze and others, even Kraftwerk! Alright, they're not all punk, but they come from roughly the same era. We've mostly given the songs a kind of Celtic feel, and we've stuck in the odd reel and jig here and there. But occassionally we just thrash! I've always thought the excitement of a reel taking off is the nearest thing to the excitement of watching punk live in the 70's.

I love the songs of 76 - 82. I was 19 in 76 when punk arrived. Those songs were the soundtrack to my life as I went through Uni and started pretending to be a comedian. I loved the noise, the faces and the attitude. I love making music. Got my first guitar when I was 13 and along the way I've picked up ten other guitars, a banjo, a ukelele, two trumpets, a banjolele, a mandolin, an autoharp, a charanga, two pianos, a tenor guitar, a triangle and even made myself some Coconuts (strangely enough - from a coconut). I also love folk music, I love the noise - at its live best its the most exciting music to be in the same room with. It occured to me that punk was the folk music of its day.

I decided to form a band to reflect all of the above. It would be great if you came along for the ride.  Cheers, Adrian.

You can tell dubstep's come a long way when it's possible for the genre to have its own supergroup. Magnetic Man are dubstep's biggest name and remixer du jour Skream, along with two of the men responsible for shaping the genre's sound, Benga and Artwork. Their debut single, 'I Need Air', features vocals from Angela Hunte, who co-wrote Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' 'New York State Of Mind'.

It was Artwork who penned the dubstep anthem Red, a tune so ahead of its time the genre didn’t yet have a name. He began to mentor two errant teenagers – Benga and Skream, the latter’s remix of La Roux’s In For The Kill giving dubstep a worldwide audience. Having created a genre of music that has taken hold of youth culture in Britain, anticipation has been building to fever pitch as the band set about unleashing onto the world their debut album.

LCR Gigs : Midlake + Special Guests John Grant (The Czars) & Jason Lytle (Grandaddy)

What: LCR Gigs

Where: LCR

Starts: 19:30:00

Ends: 11pm

How much?:

£16 advance

It’s ironic that Midlake’s new album is titled “The Courage Of Others” because, if anything, the courage is all theirs. Namely, the courage to do what feels right and stay true to the spirit of artistic independence whilst ignoring any pressure to conform to expectations. The result is the Texas quintet’s third album, their most complete and beautiful body of work yet, best appreciated as a whole in the old-fashioned sense of an album - which makes perfect sense when you know Midlake linchpin Tim Smith’s fondness for the look and feel of past times.

So what’s changed since The Trials of Van Occupanther, their second, hugely loved breakthrough album? Just as that record was in part inspired by the soft(er) rock of the early-to-mid 1970s – from Neil Young and America to Fleetwood Mac – so Midlake’s new album also looks to a slightly earlier, and definitely British, trad-tainted folk sound. It may share the same gorgeously analogue-warm electro-acoustic template as Van Occupanther but it’s a slower, darker and more carved record, both eerier and dreamier.

Plus support from special guests John Grant (The Czars) and Jason Lytle (Grandaddy). Jason and John will be performing individual solo sets - the show starts at 8pm.

Less Than Jake will bring their perfect blend of ska/punk to the UEA in November! It's been a wild and crazy ride for the band since their formation in 1992. They have steadily evolved by always sticking to their musical ideals without being hampered by the influence of emerging trends or record company pressure.

"People have a preconceived notion that Less Than Jake is a ska/punk band, that we're wacky and silly, and that may be a certain side of ourselves live, but there's also another side and that's a beautiful thing about our band - it's multi-headed," says drummer Vinnie. "We can be different things at different times; we can be socially relevant and we can still be musically relevant 18 years after being together, still progressing musically, not only as players, but as far as musical direction. We can jump outside the box of what people expect, and now that we're in control, what you'll be getting is Less Than Jake -unfiltered and over-amplified."

Waterfront Gigs : Yann Tiersen

image

What: Waterfront Gigs

Where: The Waterfront

Starts: 19:00:00

Ends: 10pm

How much?:

Price: £15.00 advance

Yann Tiersen is, by far, one of the best known French artists of his generation and the most world- renowned for his writing skills. While his reputation as a musician was first established thanks to his early studio albums, “La valse des monstres” (Monsters' waltz), “Rue des cascades” (Cascade street) and “Le Phare” (The lighthouse), that served as an introduction for the mainstream audience to his music writing wisdom, it was his work on the score for the movie “Amélie Poulain ”(”Amelie”) that earned him widespread recognition, where, thanks to great neoclassical vision, he would play around with pop and folk sounds, stripped from common cliches.

But Yann Tiersen made his biggest impression on spectators first and foremost through his live performances, playing alone or with his band, by delivering an emotionally charged and freely inspired conception of his music to the audience.

This libertarian attitude greatly influenced the writing of albums to follow, alternating classical film scores (“Good Bye Lenine”, “Tabarly”) with more “pop” music for his studio albums (“L'Absente”, “Les Retrouvailles”) followed by prestigious guest appearances honouring his unique style of composing (Stuart Staples, Jane Birkin, Dominique A, Lisa Germano, Neil Hanon and more).

On the strength of these successful achievements on record and on stage, Yann always strived to create his own trademark sound, never dwelling on the way that the mainstream audience labels him. By experimenting endlessly with various new musical directions and collaborations (Shannon Wright, This Immortal Coil, Orka..) he reminds those who care to listen that his musical boundaries go as far as he choses.

Yann will have been carrying this message to whatever remote area his worldwide tours will have taken him to, playing his own repertoire under an infinitely fresh and renewed musical light, challenging his own codes.

His new album ”Dust Lane”, brilliantly proves the extent of his ambition once again, blasting all ideas of hermetic musical boundaries; borrowing this time from Rock music sounds, and allowing his musical writing skills to blossom into a superb and strong creation, soon to be shared with his followers on stage.

This is an all standing event.

LCR Gigs : Foals

What: LCR Gigs

Starts: 19:30:00

How much?:

£14 advance

Five piece Oxford band FOALS make a return to the UEA. The last time they played Norwich (Sept 2008) they sold out, so make sure that you get your ticket to see them early!!!

The band’s much anticipated second album Total Life Forever entered the UK album charts at number 8 ahead of other new entries; Slash, Alicia Keys and Dead Weather. The band have enjoyed a mass of positive media coverage around the follow up to their 2008 debut ‘Antidotes’.

Total Life Forever was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden during late 2009, by Luke Smith (Clor). The new album showcases a sound as persuasive emotionally as Antidotes was physically. Whereas the latter constantly reinforced its own presence by filling the air with yelping and polyrhythm, songs on the new album - such as disarming opener ‘Blue Blood’, ‘Two Trees’ and the astonishing ‘Black Gold’ - are happier to leave gaps for the mind’s ear to explore. 'Alabaster' is the shell of a song, stripped of its flesh and soaked in natural reverb, giving space for a joyous, anthemic chorus. Emotional highlight 'Spanish Sahara' builds from a still, dry space, into a hazy, hallucinatory soundscape, climaxing into a rush of shimmering guitars and keys. Pop gem 'Miami' retains the band's homespun interweaving riffs and rabid drumming, inspired and loosened by the bliss and sway of classic Balearic disco.

Foals are an independently-minded band, troubled but not torn, intent on choosing evolution over extinction.

Waterfront Gigs : Seth Lakeman

image

What: Waterfront Gigs

Where: The Waterfront

Starts: 19:30:00

Ends: 11pm

How much?:

Price: £17.00 advance

Seth Lakeman, widely regarded as the UK’s foremost folk singer songwriter, who makes his eagerly awaited return with new studio album ‘Hearts & Minds’ (out July 19th) announces a UK tour in November. The follow up to 2008’s Top 10, critically acclaimed ‘Poor Man’s Heaven’, ‘Hearts & Minds’ encompasses traditional and modern themes of love, loss and human struggle and represents a further leap forward in both songwriting and sonics.

Seth has taken his story telling to a new level on his fourth album, tackling contemporary issues such as the financial crash and the greed of politicians and the banking system, as on the title track of the album Hearts and Minds. Other lyrical themes both personal and universal are covered elsewhere, including the struggles of the working-man (‘Hard Working Man’) and soldiers losing their lives in battle (‘Spinning Days’).

‘Hearts & Minds’ (19th July Relentless/ Virgin) also moves into new sonic territory with the studio work of Tchad Blake, the producer and engineer internationally known for his work with the likes of Tom Wait, Crowded House, Black Keys and Elvis Costello. On tracks such as future single ‘Tiny World’ (out 12th July), Blake has developed Seth’s traditional, percussive stomp into something more expansive, warm and intimate –echoing the more personal lyric. Lead single ‘Hearts & Minds’ sees Seth’s unique, compelling brand of ‘indie-folk’ move further into the kind of harder edged sound sign posted on the Poor Man’s Heaven album. A rabble rousing call for people to stand together to face the battles of everyday life in an ever more challenging world, the single is already a favourite in Seth’s rhythmic and captivating live shows that continue to garner an ever growing army of followers.

Having come to wider public attention following his Mercury nominated Kitty Jay album in 2005, when Seth brought folk music to a new, younger audience, he has been widely credited with breaking down perceptions and barriers often associated with folk music and its acceptance (or lack of it) in the mainstream. Here he returns into a musical landscape he arguably helped to shape, that now encompasses a whole new breed of folk inspired / acoustic artists.

Hearts & Minds, where contemporary themed tracks rub shoulders with more traditional tales and furious fiddle playing and stomping rhythms combine with intricate acoustic numbers, form an album which undoubtedly represents Lakeman’s most mature and compelling work to date.

2010 marks the 24th year since founding members John Rzeznik and Robby Takac formed Goo Goo Dolls. Most bands that were around in 1986 have come and gone. “Something For The Rest Of Us” is the follow up to 2006’s Let Love In, which marked the Goo Goo Dolls’ 20th anniversary as a band. The album spawned several Top 10 singles, including “Better Days,” “Stay With You,” and the title track, which gave them their record-breaking twelfth Top 10 hit. The last couple of years have seen them quietly honing their art in the shadows of the dreaming spires and earlier this year they released their first official single; the critically acclaimed ‘Zorbing'. They were booked to play an unprecedented 4 stages at Glastonbury Festival 09. Radio 1 asked them to headline their ‘Introducing Stage' at their Big Weekend and they are one of only a few bands that both R1 and 6 Music have agreed to collaborate on, granting Stornoway a shared broadcast session from the BBC's prestigious Maida Vale studios. Their follow-up to the hugely feted ‘Zorbing' is ‘Unfaithful' out on Monday 28th September.

The UK's premier Led Zeppelin tribute band returns. Unlike the majority of bands on the tribute circuit, Whole Lotta Led are a sound-a-like as opposed to a look-a-like tribute band. They believe that the music comes first and wearing wigs and costumes can distract from what they are trying to achieve - which is to play some of the best music ever written. Their aim is to reproduce the classic Zep songs with the same enthusiasm, excitement and passion that the original band created.

Whole Lotta Led will play 2 sets (therefore no support act.)

LCR Gigs : Skunk Anansie

Starts: 19:30:00

How much?:

£20adv

After a sell out UK Tour last autumn, Skunk Anansie are back for a  jaunt in November 2010.  With 5 million album sales, one of the most forthright, iconic, and confrontational female lead singers in modern musical history, a six-year back catalogue to make you quiver, Skunk Anansie are back!

Following an eight-year hiatus, Skunk Anansie are re-born, revitalised and as confrontational as ever, fully armed with highly charged, brand new tracks, a blistering greatest hits record. Last year they return with their epic new single ‘Because Of You’ from their ‘Greatest Hits’ record, ‘Smashes and Trashes’ out now.

Written and produced by Skunk Anansie – Skin (Lead Vocals), Cass (bass), Ace (Guitar) and Mark Richardson (Drums) ‘Because Of You’ is bursting with visceral energy. Kicking off with a sinister, nape prickling guitar riff, Skin’s intense vocal, which has never sounded better climbs on top, the track then hits you with a powerful wall of sound, showcasing their raw power and guile.

The ‘Greatest Hits’ record ‘Smashes and Trashes’ is a 15-track career-embracing album. It features classic moments from their first two Top Ten albums ‘Paranoid & Sunburnt’, ‘Stoosh’ and their 1999 album ‘’Post Orgasmic Chill’. From the rejoiceful ‘Weak’ to the anthemic ‘Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)’ it’s a timeless record brimming with hits, which is translated into the here and now in the form of their three brand new tracks; ‘Because Of You’, ‘Tear The Place Up’ and ‘Squander’.

The live arena is, of course, Skunk’s natural habitat – the band’s personal live highlights include a show-stopping appearance at Glastonbury in 1999, playing Nelson Mandela’s 80th Birthday Party and playing in front of the Dalai Lama.

£15 advance

A welcome return from the defenders of bass! Dreadzone are back with their new album 'Eye on the Horizon' and as usual they draw fast and shoot straight to the heart of the matter: music to move your mind and your feet” Don Letts Culture Clash Radio BBC 6 Music.

April 26th 2010 sees the release of the much anticipated Dreadzone album EYE ON THE HORIZON. Reflecting the bands illustrious past and innovative releases, EYE ON THE HORIZON firmly picks up where the bands popular top 20 chart hit LITTLE BRITAIN left off. It reinvents the band with ten tracks that signify the move into fully formed songwriting against a backdrop of dubwise dancabilty. This style helped them to become one of the UK's original dance music pioneers , with a style that has since spawned many sub genres. MCing and reggae vocals partner the mix of live guitars, electronic beats and dub bass to perfection. The album features iconic samples (notably, the legendary theme from Long Good Friday on Gangster, a spoken word piece from Woody Guthrie and Dennis Browns Greensleeves classic Whip Them Jah on American Dread) all of which compliment the bass and beat heavy Dreadzone style perfectly.

The Dreadzone story began with Alan McGee‘s Creation Records and their first groundbreaking album 360, continuing with major waves their seminal 1995 album SECOND LIGHT picking up support from John Peel (who included the album in his top ten favourite albums of all time). The top 20 hit from that album LITTLE BRITAIN has since gone on to acquire classic status. Five critically acclaimed albums later they are set to remind people why the Dread sound is still very much a part of the musical landscape of this country. The core members Greg Dread, original bassmaster Leo Williams, the unmistakable MC Spee, legendary Studio One vocalist Earl 16 alongside Chris Compton on guitar and Chris Oldfield on technology make up the new line up. The bands influence extends not only out into the current scene as one of the pioneers of dub based music in this country, but rewinding to back in the day as the rhythm section of Mick Jones’ Big Audio Dynamite in the 80s . Their roots are embedded in the history of West London sound clash and with a drum and bass partnership of 25 years this year Leo and Greg are still rolling strong and rocking the nation with their distinctive rhythms.

The event runs from 8pm-Midnight.

South London’s favourite sons will return to what they do best this winter when Squeeze take to the road for their biggest UK tour in over 10 years! The boys will invite their fans to “Spot The Difference” at 21 dates across the country, kicking off in Bournemouth on 14th November and concluding by returning home to play three separate London venues in three days.

Releasing their first EP – the cheekily titled ‘Packet Of Three’ - in 1977, Squeeze shot to fame thanks to the pithy ‘kitchen-sink’ lyrics and new wave guitar music that have since become their trademark. Having numbered Jools Holland and Paul Carrack within their ranks, and working with the likes of Elvis Costello and Velvet Underground’s John Cale, Squeeze became a fixture of the UK’s music scene over the course of their 13-album career, before splitting in 1998.

Despite tentatively reforming in 2007, Squeeze have so far refused to tread the well-worn reunion path by trading on their past glories, which have included hit singles on both sides of the Atlantic such as Cool For Cats, Tempted, Hourglass and Up The Junction.

Instead they have gradually been re-establishing the informal live show that made them such favourites in the first place, their festival appearances and gigs to date honing the chemistry that saw co-founders and ever-presents Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook dubbed ‘The New Lennon and McCartney’. They are joined on this tour by fellow Squeeze favourite John Bentley, with the line-up completed by Glenn’s solo band-mates Stephen Large and Simon Hanson.

Over 30 years after ‘Packet Of Three’, will Squeeze fans be able to spot the difference? Certainly not if the infectious enthusiasm that the band still bring to their live shows is anything to go by!

LCR Gigs : The Saw Doctors

Starts: 19:00:00

£21.50adv

In the last two years, Ireland's Saw Doctors have blazed back phoenix-like from almost two decades of unsung glory. Out of the blue, their rambunctious cover of The Sugababes' About You Now rocketed to No 1 in Ireland, restoring them to their rightful place as that nation's best-loved good-time band. This also prompted the release of their Best of collection “To Win Just Once - Best of The Saw Doctors” which debuted at Number 3 in the Irish charts last year and went on to achieve platinum status.

Fronted by two criminally under-rated songwriters, Leo Moran and Davy Carton, this is the band that entered the record books back in 1990 when I Useta Lover spent nine weeks at number one, becoming Ireland's best-selling single of all time. They followed up with the No 2 hit, N17, and a chart-topping album, If This Is Rock And Roll, I Want My Old Job Back.

Irresistibly singable songs (To Win Just Once, Hay Wrap and Same Oul' Town to name but three), still flowed from Moran and Carton; their stormingly exuberant live shows remained unparalleled celebrations of the spirit of great rock; and their substantial phalanx of hardcore fans on both sides of the Atlantic never wavered in support.

Saw Doctors' fans go home glowing from a gig crammed end to end with songs about real life. The band work the same live magic wherever they play, from the Royal Albert Hall in London to a convent in the West of Ireland, from the paddock at Sandown Racecourse to the front room of a lucky fan who won a live Saw Doctors concert as a competition prize. They will also be appearing at Glastonbury, V Festival and Oxegen this year. In conjunction with their Glastonbury appearance they will be releasing a brand new single from their yet untitled new album due out in August.
