Get Involved

Get Involved Stamp

There are loads of ways for you to Get Involved in your Union...

number1

JOIN a club or society and get involved in something that interests you. There are 150 to choose from!

number2
CAMPAIGN for change. Why not make a difference at UEA? This year we’re campaigning on unfair student fees and debt, transport, go green and course feedback.
 number3

REPRESENT your coursemates. Be a Union Councillor or a Student Rep in your school and make sure that students’ voices are heard. Email su.comms@uea.ac.uk for details.

number4 STAND for election. Run to be a Student Officer or Faculty Convenor to lead UEA students. Nominate yourself in the Union elections which happen in March.
 number5
VOTE for what you believe in and feed into the decisions the Union makes. The more people who vote, the more likely the University are to listen.
number6 SHOUT out if you’ve got a problem. By going to the Union Advice Centre you don’t just get free independent advice but you also feed into the Union’s representation of UEA students. If Officers know that students are facing problems, they can sort them out with the University.
number7 ENJOY the Union’s services. It’s your LCR, your Waterfront, your bars, your Travel Shop, your UFO, your Post Office and your Paper Shop. These services are for you. The money made here is not for profit – just for students, and goes back into paying for the Union’s clubs, societies and representation.
