LCR Club Nights

YOUR STUDENT VENUE
The LCR is UEA's own student club venue. Every week during term time there are at least 2 club nights.

TUESDAY NIGHTS
Tuesday Nights at the LCR are all about the Fancy Dress and the Cheesy Music. Chart hits, classic student anthems and a different theme each week. Tickets are just £3.50 in advance from the Box Office or £4 on the door.The décor and music are themed and depending on the theme there are activities, live music or a second soundsystem in our second room, The Hive.

SATURDAY NIGHTS
Providing students with a worthwhile alternative to the city on a weekend - good music, good prices and good company. We have 4 different Saturday night club nights.

• The A List brings you the most current music, of all genres. No fancy dress, no fuss, simply great music with DJ E.D.A.M. Project. "Grit" in the Hive is an eclectic mix of Indie, Rock & Electro, brought to you by the Grit Crew: DJ Lois and DJ Sam.
• Now 90s presents the hits of your youth – pop, britpop, dance and chart music from the 1990s! With DJ Double A in the Hive with his always popular blend of R'n'B, Hip Hop, Dance and more...
• Club Retro: Rock’n’Roll, Soul, Pop, Disco, Classic Rock and more… the best of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s at our Club Retro nights. With “Club Neo” in the Hive: as a complete contrast it’s Club Neo – everything modern and electronic, from house, dance, electro, d’n’b and dubstep.
• The Other One plays you the best music from 2000 to now of all different genres – it’s the cutting edge of nostalgia! With “Harmony” in the Hive: R’n’B, Hip Hop and Dancehall hits.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

• BIRTHDAY LCRS!
  From now on if you are going to celebrate your birthday at an LCR and your birthday falls on the day (ie. if it's the Tuesday, either the Tuesday or the Wednesday and Saturday, either the Saturday or the Sunday), please come and claim your free birthday ticket at the Box Office! You will, obviously, need to bring along ID so we can check your birthday!
• DRINK SPIKING
  Please be careful when you're out drinking that you're aware of drink spiking. Don't leave your drinks unattended and if you think one of your drinks doesn't taste right - don't have it! Remember we have first aid on duty during LCR nights if you think you've been spiked.
• THE UNION BOX OFFICE
  The Box Office in Union House sells all our event tickets. Saturday LCRs go on sale the Monday before, Tuesday LCRs go on sale the Wednesday before. Keep your eyes on the Box Office windows for on sale dates for all one-off events or SOLD OUT signs. The Box Office is open from 9.30am-5pm during termtime.
