Hungry For Feedback

What are we doing?
Over the coming year we’ll be encouraging the University to provide feedback on exams – just like they do for coursework, whilst lobbying for improved standards of feedback on coursework.
We're asking students to sign our petition for improved exam feedback - sign it yourself here.
We’ll be working to ensure that supervision for postgraduates is top notch, and that the University provides clear information about modules before they start so that you understand what you’ll need to do in order to do well in that class.
Why are we doing it?
We can always learn from our mistakes and what we’ve done well, and understanding why you got the grade you did on your exams and coursework will help your performance in your next modules.
What have we achieved so far?
Last year, we were successful at getting the University to commit to returning all marked coursework in a four week time frame, ensuring that students could learn from previous coursework before they started a another one.
We also lobbied for, and won, an anonymous marking system for all coursework, which means that the markers do not know who the coursework belongs to when they mark it, removing any chance of unintentional bias.
Who can I get in touch with if I want to get involved?
