Training

As an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) recognised training centre, we are able to offer a number of RYA courses, including Level 2 basic sailing courses and racing courses.

Level 2 Courses

The RYA Level 2 course is aimed at beginners (complete or otherwise), and covers all the essential basics of sailing. By the end you will be a competent helm able to sail without the accompaniment of an instructor.

We aim to offer a number of courses throughout the year, depending on demand. All courses are completely free (normally costing circa £200 independently) apart from a small charge to cover the cost of logbooks. All courses are run by qualified instructors. 

Racing Courses

We are aiming to run a number of racing courses throughout the year. These will either be intensive courses over a number of weekends or a final assesment at the end of each semester to see how people interested in racing have progressed. We are able to award start tacing and intermediate racing awards as well as sailing with spinnakers.
