The Union wins a SUEI Award

Union of UEA Students is proud to announce that we have been credited with a Bronze award in the Student Union Evaluation Initiative (SUEI).

The SUEI is a national scheme which measures how Student Union’s are adapting and changing to meet modern demands and the needs of their students. Achieving this award reflects how the Union is committed to developing to meet the needs of the dynamic changing membership of students’ unions, whilst measuring the impact on students, the University and the local community.

The award will be presented later in the year to the student officers, union staff and Edward Acton, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, in parliament.

Tom Dolton, Communications Officer said,

“I’m really pleased of all the hard work that the Union has been doing over the past year; putting the members at the heart of everything, making sure their voice is being heard.

This award is a reflection of that hard work, and both the students and the University should be proud that we are working to improve the experience for all students studying at UEA. In fact a key part of our award was the strong relationship we have with the University”
