as an ex UEA student I am entirely confident that, in hindsight, students will always fight for the rights of others, but the Student Union is there to fight for the students and actually what better way to do this than to broaden the horizons of students by bringing the best, worst and most contentious acts to the Union and focusing all the stdudent body power by focusing all the students within the union.

Go Rabbit!!

Of course it is! Except the UK republicanism thing as that got voted against, there was a referendum (in which all students could vote) that did vote to boycott coke (one of the reasons being their treatment of their workers.) Whoever came up with this poll obviously doesn't think much of the way students voted and thinks their opinion is more important!
