The Union is not just for bright-eyed eighteen year olds. More students than ever before are studying beyond the age of 25 and universities are becoming more and more accessible for students with families.
Mature Students' Officer – Olugbenga Fred Aniviye
"Hi, I'm Olugbenga Fred Aniviye, postgraduate student in International Development. My prime aim as Mature Students’ Officer is to make the return to education of every mature student a pleasurable experience, through mainstreaming them into both the academic and social life of the university; ensuring their voices are heard on issues like child care, fees and timetabling; and making sure that schools are supportive and helpful."
