| Welcome to the UEA Investment society, We are a new and unique organization whose primary purpose is to produce real monetary gains for charitable investors while bridging the gap between academia and practiced finance. Our aim is provide educational opportunities for students and enable insights into the sometimes nebulous markets and other areas that deal with money and tasty stuff, while having a lot of fun doing so. Our program for the year includes intro-tasters, workshops on learning how to research and trade, smashing socials and hosting prestigious alumni in order to pick their brains. Beyond just financial trading we are committed to helping everyone get involved, be it in a jurisdicial, actuarial, entrepreneurial or even in an 'enjoy-to-learn' manner.
