Match Report: Norwich City II v UEA I

With a day when most of the team was hung over, UEA 1 powered through to start a warm up for their third match of the season against Norwich City 2. After a few words from the wise Coach Ami, the match commenced. With a shaky start and a few dodgy passes during the standard four-zero approach, the team were level pegging at half time with the score tied at 4-4. With a tactical substitution at half time, UEA 1 thought they may be able to improve from their result from the previous week. And so they did! UEA 1 scored a few goals in succession. And then another tactical substitution was made and this increased the morale of the team as the team score a few more, while conceding one. But this was a marvellous display of Korfball, the brilliant four-zero was working, UEA were getting the ball in collect and a few runners added to the score tally. This lead UEA 1 to an inspired victory of 13-5. There was an impressive display of free passes, that were only practiced the day before, to round up the match. So…UEA 1 are now ready to kick butt at next weeks match up, whoever the opposition may be!
