African Students Society
Society for those interested in fostering the interests and integration of African students at UEA and the UK as a whole.

Amnesty International
Amnesty International is the biggest and longest running human rights charity in the world, the UEA branch of the charity works in accordance with Amnesty in their campaign for the promotion of the basic rights of modern society.

Anime Society
Anime Society is a new society concerned with Japanese animation, anime, comics, Manga, and computer games such as the Final Fantasy series.

Art of Living
Fancy meditation, yoga and breathing technique? Well then the Art of Living Society is just what you need to destress and gain some peace of mind!

Art Society
A society for anyone with 'arty bones' to paint and draw, as well as involving trips to art galleries, theatres and cinema.

Ballroom and Latin American Dancing Society
BALADS aims to spice up your Samba, and kick start your Jive. Come along and let us work out magic!

Buddhist Society

Deviant
If you like your stuff a bit darker and different then join the Deviant Soc. We put on gigs with local and university bands at the UEA and co-ordinate with the Waterfront to hold gigs.

Drama
Productions throughout the year and opportunities for actors and stage-hands alike, anything to do with the stage.

Green Party
Active in campaigns across the university, including green issues, the GM Free Norfolk campaign, top-up fees and at the local elections

Hellenic Society
This society brings Greek people, and any other nationalities interested in the Greek culture, together, with major parties and cultural events promoting Greek music and customs from Greece and Cyprus.

History Soc
This society offers everyone with an interest in history the chance to get together to learn and discuss all things historical

International Student Society
Although there are a number of international societies at UEA, this is for EVERYONE from Bournemouth to Bombay.

RAG
RAG - Raising and giving. We get together each week to organise events to raise money for charities we think we should help in ways that are as fun as possible. Occasionally involves making fools of ourselves. Includes events in the bar, Hive and LCR nights as well as national events around the county.

STAR (student action for Refugees)
STAR is the Student Action for Refugees Society. They work locally and nationally to raise awareness and funds through a range of dynamic and exciting activities to inform students about refugees and asylum seekers in Norfolk. See their website by clicking on the link above.

The Union dance society for the University of East Anglia. Street Jazz is a mix of jazz (modern) dance and street - modern dance with an edge. The dance routines that you see in pop videos? That's the sort of thing we do.

The Islamic Society at UEA
The University of East Anglia’s Muslim Students’ Association is your home away from your home. Our main objective is to foster a harmonious relationship between Muslims and other communities, increase understanding and awareness about Islam and Muslims and create a pleasant environment for Muslims students, in particular of UEA, to practice their faith.
