Here’s a taster of our past events which all took place last year:

A trip to Strumpshaw Fen, an RSPB reserve where two of our members spotted a fabled bittern.

A walk along Breydon Water from the Berney Arms windmill.

A social to see the hilarious film Flushed Away from the people behind Wallace and Gromit.

Digging a dragonfly pond at Buxton Heath.

An early morning journey to the RSPB Snettisham reserve to see Pink-footed geese flying inland at dawn.

One of last year's extravaganzas was a journey to Horsey beach to see seals galore. A truly amazing experience - better than any zoo or sea life centre could ever provide.

A Canadian canoeing trip run by Activ-8 to see wildlife along a local river. This was another highlight of the year and nobody fell in, or did they…

Upcoming Events

This autumn semester, in addition to regular work at Buxton Heath and Toll’s Meadow, we’ll be trying to have more events during the week, for those who work at weekends, and more socials. Also look out for information on some of these upcoming activities in the 2007-2008 year:

A canoeing trip to see otters.

Whale watching at Dunwich.

A wildlife-themed Pub Crawl.

A residential weekend away to do conservation work.

David Attenborough appreciation night (DVD night).

A walk at Cley Marshes / North Norfolk Coast.

Return to the spectacular seals of Horsey.
