Student voting in local elections.

Students can vote both here and in their home town in local elections, but you must make sure you're registered.

• First year students in halls are automatically registered to vote.
• Students NOT living in halls of residence need to register to vote - you can do this easily by downloading a form from the Norwich City Council website and posting it to Elections Office, Norwich City Council, Room 40, City Hall, Norwich, NR2 1NH by Wednesday 16th April.

Who's standing?

Check out Norwich Green Party to find details of your local Green candidate. Norwich has one of the largest groups of Green councillors in the UK, with 10 city councillors and 2 county councillors. They are a large opposition group on the city council, and could become the official opposition party after this year's elections.
