This year's local elections take place on Thursday 1st May.

• Students are entitled to vote both here and in their home town in local council elections.

Norwich Green Party 2008 elections

Norwich Green Party already hold 10 seats on the city council (Labour hold 15, Liberal Democrats 11, Conservatives 3).

This year, with your help they could become the main opposition party on the council. Please contact your UEA Green Party committee here if you would like to get involved.

We also hold discussions and debates on recent issues and Party Policy, and organise socials, film showings, trips and events. For this years programme of events, please see our Programme
