A big part of what NUS does is to provide support for individual Unions. It does this through regular training events, providing trainers for Executive Committee training events, to providing briefing papers on various Union issues. You can read reports from some NUS training events that Union Officers have attended here .
NUS also provides Unions with a whole range of information and research ranging from money issues to academic appeals to sexual health. This tends to be used more by Unions with smaller Advice Centres than ours, although our staff do benefit from some of the research, resources and training events that NUS provides.
