Whilst student representatives on Union Council, School-Level committees and Central-Level committees can represent student’s collective interests, they are not elected to represent the needs of each and every individual student. This is where the Union Advice Centre comes in.
The Union Advice Centre is a one stop shop for information, support and advice on a on a massive range of issues including academic appeals and complaints, legal issues, health, financial problems, employment and housing rights. The Advice Centre employs a team of fully trained Advice Workers who will support, advise and represent any UEA student.
For more information about the range of services the Advice Centre provides, take a look at their webpage, visit them upstairs in Union House or e-mail them.
