Where can I find...?

These eight tabs, always found on the left hand side of the Union Homepage, hold all the information you will need to navigate around the Union website. Below is a small guide to what is under each of the headings.

this tab will take you to the ‘rabbit’ page where you can:

• look at past rabbits
• see the latest rabbit
• submit news items to go in rabbit
• "have your say" about articles in rabbits

this tab will take you to the ‘representation’ page where you can:

• see how the union represents you as an individual
• find out about the Union’s policies and constitution, and how our ‘Union Council’ works
• find out about the GSA (Graduate Students Association
• understand the Union’s role within the University
• and our Union as a part of the NUS (National Union of Students)

this tab will take you to ‘campaigns’ page where you can:

• find out what campaigns are!
• see which campaigns we have run over the past year and what we are aiming to run
• find out how to get involved yourself

this tab will take you to the ‘advice and support’ page where you can find:

• opening times for the advice centre
• academic advice, e.g. if you want to contest a mark
• information on sexual health, mental health and general health and safety etc.
• housing lists (updated daily) and housing advice
• employability, the service to help students find jobs and support whilst they are working

this tab will take you to the ‘clubs and societies’ page which has:

• news about our clubs & societies
• lists of the various clubs & societies minisites, which you can browse
• Peer Support groups such as the LGB and Nightline within the university
• Union media societies minisites, such as our student newspaper, Concrete
• how to set up your own club or society
• how to set up your own clubs or societies minisite

this tab will take you to the ‘entertainments and bars’ page which shows you:

• whats happening today?
• ents. news and features
• full listings for the LCR, Bar and Waterfront
• a link to the UEA box office to order your tickets
• descriptions and locations of the LCR, Bar/Pub, and the Waterfront
• classic student nights such as Retro and Skool Days (and how to be involved!)
• photo albums of past nights
• a message board for all your entertainment gossip

these tabs will take you to the ‘shops’ and ‘contacts & feedback’ where you can:

• find links to the Union paper shop, Union Post Office, Union Food Outlet, Union Book shop, Union Travel shop, and UEA Merchandise and their special offers
• search for people or union officers
• make suggestions and give feedback
• change your member status

When you have gone to one of these pages you will see a contents bar near the top of the page, similar to the one below, which will direct you to the area of this particular site page that you want to use. All you have to do is click the link you want e.g. ‘Societies’ will take you to the list of all the societies websites.
