Tuesday Nights at the LCR are all about the Fancy Dress and the Cheesy Music. Chart hits, classic student anthems and a different theme each week.

Tuesday 13^th May – The Sports LCR

Summer is a great time of year. Sunshine, barbecues and lots and lots of sport on the telly. With Euro 2008, Wimbledon and the Olympics on their way we thought it was time to celebrate all things sporty with a fancy dress theme! So grab your shorts, sweatbands, swimsuits, salopettes and get yourselves to the LCR!

Tuesday 20^th May - The Fashion Disaster LCR

£3.50adv/£4 on the door. 10pm doors. On sale Wednesday 14^th May

A brand new LCR theme! From ill-fitting skirts bought at charity shops to bad 80s dresses with fluorescent leggings, what we want to see tonight is the worst you’ve got. Have a look through your wardrobe for that item you really can’t bring yourself to wear anymore. Or, if you’re too stylish to own something so dreadful, we suggest a trip to the charity shops around Norwich with your mates – you’ll be surprised what you can pick up for a fiver!

Tuesday 27^th May – The Beach Party

It’s summertime! We hope. It should be warm-ish by now, but whether it is or not, get your shorts and t-shirts out of your storage, put on your flipflops and get yourselves in the mood for one of the biggest LCRs this term!

Tuesday 3^rd June – The Wild West LCR

£3.50adv/£4 on the door. 10pm doors. On sale Wednesday 28^th May

Yee-Hah! Saddle that horse, strap on your spurs and grab your cowboy hat for the Wild West LCR! Cowgirls, cowboys, Indians, bar wenches, sheriffs, bandits, cactuses… plenty of different ways to dress up on this fancy dress night!

Thursday 5^th June – Silent Disco

£4.50adv. 10pm doors. On sale soon!

It went so well last time we’re bringing it back for one more go this year. Did you go last time? Loved it? Bring your friends? Still curious? Try it out! This is how it works: A busy LCR packed with people dancing. But you can't hear any music. That's a silent disco if you don't have the headphones on. With headphones it's a whole different thing. You can switch between two channels and pick the music and DJ you like. It's a whole new experience. Tickets are limited.

Tuesday 10^th June – The Skool Prom

£3.50adv/£4 on the door. 10pm doors. On sale Wednesday 4^th June

A sort of Skool Daze with a twist. Imagine the proms from Grease, Footloose, American Pie… all those classic American films. That’s what we want to do with this night! You’re welcome to dress up in your usual school uniform, but you’re also invited to dress up in your favourite prom dresses and suits! With, of course, a Prom Queen and Prom King.
