Campaigns Header - keeping you informed

One of the central roles of the Union is to campaign in the interests of all its members - students at UEA. These campaigns take many different forms, with some taking place on a regular year-on-year basis, and others springing up as and when they're needed.

Below you can find links to all of our many campaign minisites.

No lectures in Freshers Week
For many coming to University, it means leaving home for the first time and coming to a new city. We are not calling for fewer lectures, but more time for students to settle in and make friends, both in halls and in any clubs or societies they may choose to join. All a student's support networks, friends and links with the Students' Union are made in Freshers' week Students need a week to settle in while they register, go to their school reception and meet their personal tutor. Then star lectures on the following Monday for a FULL 12 WEEKS OF LECTURES not 11 and a half.

Students Charter
This is a minisite all about the students charter being developed at UEA.

Women's Campaign
The Union runs a Women's Campaign and has a women's officer. This site has information about the current focus of the campaign.
