Bullying Sucks

I know what an issue bullying can be for some students. Across the country, 63% of students are being bullied, according to an NUS survey. Bullying can cause major stress, causing mental and physical health problems - put simply, it can ruin lives.

I want to create an environment here at UEA where every student knows how to report bullying, and feels that they can do so safely, and where students feel they get enough support from other students and the staff.
I need your help in this campaign too. I need to know what services UEA students would like to see provided. I need to know where the problems are, and what you want me to do about them. I’m also here for students who need a listening ear, so check out my office hours or email me. My timetable changes all the time, so my office hours do too - I’ll try to make sure they’re always up to date on the website, but they’ll be on the door outside my office (go into the Hive, up the stairs, and down the corridor on the left) too.
