Where can you get it?

Norwich Shops

Co-op supermarkets, St. Stevens Road; by Safeway garage opposite the Five Ways pub. Set apart from the other supermarkets by their commitment to fairtrade products, a good selection.

Eostre Organics, Market Place, 01953 789000 Found at stall 31, Row A in the market. Sells organic veg and the all important fairtrade bananas, along with mangoes and pineapples. Look at www.eostreorganics.co.uk

The Greenhouse, Bethel Street, 631007 Good selection in this environmentally-sound shop, a whole load of environmental info resources too.

Nim Baara, Pottergate, 614178 Fairtrade African arts and crafts sourced directly from small family businesses.

Oxfam, Magdalen Street, 665508; St. Giles Street, 631875 The fairtrade Mecca! Not for fresh produce mind.

Rainbow Wholefoods, Dove Street, 625560 Smaller selection of fairtrade goods.

Source Clothing, Upper Giles Street, 660790 Fairtrade clothes, nice.

Wilkinsons tea and coffee, Lobster Lane, 625121 Fresh fairtrade coffee ground before you very eyes. You’ve got to smell it to believe it!

The World Shop, Exchange Street, 610993 This is a lovely little shop run by NEAD volunteers (Norfolk Education & Action for Development) which sells a whole host of fairtrade goodies. Also houses an educational library, so you can learn even more!

Most supermarkets now stock the usual fairtrade products, so tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate and bananas, so go and see for yourself!

And don't forget the UFO!!!

Costa Coffee, White Lion Street, 230420; Castle Street (upstairs in Ottakars Bookshop), 767064 First chain to stock Fairtrade tea and coffee for a slight extra cost. Fantastic!

The Playhouse Bar, St George’s Street A fantastic place to chill out with some tea or coffee.
