If they can't act maturely and go along with the democratic process, choosing instead to splinter off and disrupt things as much as possible than they most definately have no place in the student union. Someone who is on the council should call for a vote of no confidence, and get these people out so council reps can talk about real issues that are relevent for students.

Bring it. I'd love to be a martyr for the sports clubs. I imagine I'd be back on council a week later as well.
