Get UEA on the leader board for the NME Student Music Quiz!

As students return to university this autumn they’ll face their toughest test yet – in the NME Student Music Quiz. In a search for Britain’s Brainiest University, the UK’s favourite weekly music magazine will be testing students across both music and general knowledge to reveal where the most intelligent young minds are studying this year. Students can log on to www.nme.com/students to take part in the quiz, then compare themselves with other students nationwide. A leaderboard will be updated throughout the day to reveal which university is the most intelligent. King’s College London took an early lead, but the winning uni needn’t be an established redbrick or one of the Oxbridge bunch. No, with the competition having been flung open to all university students nationwide, surprise results are expected on the leaderboard. Will London’s School Of Oriental And African Studies make a bid for the top spot? Will Cambridge fail to get off the starting blocks?

The overall winning student gets £500 for their trouble. The top four universities will be invited to London on October 17 to compete against the NME editorial team in a super quiz, before joining them at the London leg of the O2 NME Rock’N’Roll Riot Tour in partnership with Samsung to see The Wombats, Lethal Bizzle and The Enemy.
