It's about basic right!

This subject shouldn't have come up in the first place. I have more important things to do than keep on eye on what the student union may be concerned about, especially an issue as stupid as this. I have a life and so do most students, that's why only a tiny fraction voted.

People should stop coming up with these silly politically correct ideas in the first place, and if they want to help the third world they should target the crappy governemnts of these countries not a company. Now the ppl who worked for the Coke will have nothing and students have a basic right taken away: to chose what they want to buy.

As I said this subject shouldn't have come up. It's an individual's choice what they buy. It's just a bunch of sad selfish idiots enforcing their beliefs on the rest of us! It's disgusting and tarnish the UEA's image to prospective students also.

The people in change of the student union needs to get a life and not bother with such petty issues. They just think they're clever and a bunch of do gooders but truthfully they wouldn't know morallity of it smacked them in the face. I love diet coke and oasis and it's all I drink.....now I have to change a habit and what I like because of a bunch of crazy strangers? There's far more serious issues they should be concerned with closer to home!!!!
