Assault - Appeal for witnesses

An assault occurred on Monday 20th February 2006 approximately 22:00 hours on the footpath at the bottom of Chancellor’s Drive and the footbridge/footpath to the John Innes Centre. A student whilst walking towards the main university site on his way home from the John Innes centre, was assaulted by 4 to 6 youths driving a stolen golf buggy. Any information on the assault, offenders, golf buggies, or connected crime, please contact Pc 591 Tomlinson at Bowthorpe Police Station, on 01603 276771.
