Art competition - Stop Violence Against Women

To have a chance of winning our competition, all you need to do is to submit art (photography, painting, poetry, essay writing, whatever you want to do) to us. (leave at reception- in the hive)
Entry is completely free, everyone is welcome to enter.
The deadline is FRIDAY 25th APRIL (week 11) by 4pm

We want as many people as possible to enter, so please do, even if you're not normally artistic.

The topic is VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Here is a summary:
*Violence against women is the greatest human rights scandal of our times. The experience or threat of violence affects the lives of women everywhere, cutting across boundaries of wealth, race, and culture.
*Amnesty International bases its work on the definition in the UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which states that violence against women is: "Any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life."

After the work has been submitted we will have a small exhibition or evening for the prize giving, we will arrange this later, depending on entry numbers.
