Academic Appeals

If you are unhappy with the mark awarded for a piece of assessed work, whether or not it contributes to your degree, you have the right to appeal against it.

There are strict deadlines and guidelines to comply with when considering an appeal. The Advice Centre have leaflets to guide you initially. Please see the Appealing Against an Academic Result leaflet in the Leaflet Rack above. We would always recommend that you discuss the process and reasons for an appeal with an Advice Worker.
